Supporting Veterans: Arsenal Insurance Implements Financial Inclusion Principles
Arsenal Insurance has joined the Charter on Financial Inclusion and Reintegration of Veterans — a joint initiative of the financial sector aimed at creating equal opportunities for veterans and their families.
The company is implementing a systematic approach to supporting veterans as clients, employees, and job candidates, while continuing to develop a barrier-free and inclusive environment.
Arsenal has an approved Veteran Support Program that outlines the main areas of this work. It covers support for veteran clients, accessibility, employment and adaptation, training and professional development, support for mobilized employees, reintegration after military service, results monitoring, and cooperation with external organizations.
Accessible and Comfortable Service
One dedicated area is interaction with veteran clients.
The program provides for an accessible, clear, and comfortable service, including priority service without queuing, the option to submit required documents remotely for claims review, accessible digital services, and alternative communication channels for clients with special needs.
Returning to Work — With Support
Reintegrating veterans into the professional environment is another key area of the Program.
Returning after military service includes the option for gradual adaptation to work processes, rebuilding necessary skills, training, and, if needed, adapting the workplace to the employee's individual needs.
To support this process, the company provides mentorship. A mentor helps the employee get familiar with work processes, navigate internal policies, and adapt to returning to the team. At the same time, respecting veterans' personal boundaries is a core principle: each person decides independently how much they are willing to share about their military experience.
Barrier-Free Environment and a Culture of Respect
Supporting veterans also means shaping the environment people work in every day.
The Program includes training for employees and managers on principles of interacting with veterans, accessibility, and non-discrimination, as well as measures for professional adaptation and reintegration.
The company also plans to expand cooperation with veteran organizations, charitable foundations, government institutions, professional development centers, and rehabilitation and educational organizations working in veteran support and reintegration.
For Arsenal Insurance, it is important that veteran support be part of everyday practice — in customer service, in working with people, and in corporate culture.
We will continue working to develop an inclusive environment, expand access to financial services, and support veterans as they return to civilian and professional life.
