Arsenal Insurance and VUSO paid UAH 97.5 million for Kyiv business centres damaged in a missile strike
On 14 May 2026, two business centres belonging to the same network in Kyiv sustained significant damage during a massive missile attack on the capital. Both properties were insured against war risks by Arsenal Insurance and VUSO.
The blast waves and flying debris damaged the buildings’ façades and structural elements, glazing, windows and doors, roofing, utility systems, interior finishes, as well as other movable and immovable property on the premises of the business centres.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack.
Arsenal Insurance and VUSO shared the insurance risk equally, with each company assuming a 50% share. Following the completion of the claims settlement process, the companies paid the client a total of UAH 97.5 million, with each insurer contributing UAH 48.75 million.
Including this payment, Arsenal Insurance and VUSO have now paid the client a total of UAH 240 million in compensation for damage to the network’s properties caused by attacks on Kyiv in 2025–2026.
