Arsenal Insurance Has Been Included in the List of Ukraine's Significant Insurers
The National Bank of Ukraine has published its first-ever list of insurance companies designated as significant. Arsenal Insurance made the list alongside 12 other leading market players.
The regulator designated as significant the companies whose activity affects the stability of the country's entire insurance sector. For Ukraine's economy, the insurance industry is a significant part of the financial infrastructure: it provides financial security for millions of Ukrainians, which is why the condition of insurers matters greatly to the national economy.
Significant insurer status isn't an award — companies on the list face enhanced regulatory oversight and stricter corporate governance requirements.
The list was compiled based on regulatory reporting that companies submitted to the NBU over the past two years. It includes insurers with the largest scale of operations, assets, and liabilities — 11 non-life insurers and 2 life insurance companies.
For us, this status means a major responsibility to clients and the market — and at the same time, confirmation that Arsenal Insurance is a systemically important company for Ukraine's insurance industry.
