Arsenal Insurance Pays Out Over 114M UAH After Major Fire at Dnipro Industrial Complex
Arsenal Insurance has completed the settlement of a major property insurance claim, making two payouts totaling over 114 million UAH.
The insured event took place in the city of Dnipro at a large industrial and warehouse complex — a fire broke out on site, causing critical damage to the insured buildings.
Technical inspections found the buildings structurally unsound: the load-bearing structures completely lost their integrity, with parts collapsing inward. Restoring the complex proved technically impossible — the site is unfit for further use and requires complete demolition and new construction.
The insurance payout was made in two installments:
— 51.9 million UAH paid on May 6, 2026;
— 62.3 million UAH paid on May 11, 2026.
"Settling losses of this scale is an extremely labor-intensive process that requires multiple expert assessments, complex analysis of the buildings' structural condition, and a detailed evaluation of the extent of the damage. In this case, we were dealing with the complete destruction of a large industrial and warehouse complex, so the assessment process was especially painstaking," comments Arsenal Insurance.
Cases like this once again confirm: for large industrial and warehouse facilities, insurance coverage isn't optional — it's a necessity.
