20M UAH War-Risk Payout: Arsenal Insurance and VUSO Compensate Damage to Kyiv Business Centers
Two powerful air attacks on Kyiv in June and July 2025 damaged two business centers belonging to the same network.
The buildings were insured against war risks under a co-insurance arrangement between Arsenal Insurance and VUSO.
On June 23, a blast wave and shrapnel damaged the façade, window structures, glass elements, finishing, and engineering systems of one business center. Then, on July 10, during another massive attack on Kyiv, an explosion damaged the second business center in the same network — destroying the entrance area, office spaces, and window panes across several floors of the building.
Based on the expert assessment, the total insurance payout came to 19.9 million UAH, with each insurer paying 9.95 million UAH.
