12M UAH War-Risk Payout: Arsenal Insurance and Partners Compensate Damage to a Kyiv Business Center
On June 10, 2025, during a massive attack on Kyiv, a business center building was damaged by shrapnel from an enemy Shahed-type drone.
The building's façade, walls, glazing, interior partitions, ceiling, floor, and doors sustained significant damage. Engineering and utility systems were also affected — ventilation, heating, power supply, lighting, and fire suppression — along with the roof, interior finishes, furniture, and office equipment.
The building was insured against war risks under a co-insurance arrangement between three companies — Arsenal Insurance, UNIQA, and TAS. Coverage included the building itself, along with all premises, finishes, glass elements, and office equipment. Based on the expert assessment, the total insurance payout came to over 12 million UAH. The payout amount was calculated based on restoration costs without depreciation.
On September 22, 2025, Arsenal Insurance received the last required documents, and by September 26 had already made its share of the payout — 4,112,237 UAH. Just four days passed between the completion of document collection and the actual transfer of funds to the client.

Meanwhile, during the settlement process, on August 28, 2025, the same business center was damaged again by shelling. A blast wave and shrapnel once more caused damage to the building. Settlement of this second claim is ongoing, and a payout will follow.
