Got into an accident abroad?

If anyone was injured in the accident, provide first aid and call an ambulance if needed. Mark the accident scene with a warning triangle and follow traffic regulations. Important: don't move any objects or debris until the police arrive.

You can fill out a European Accident Statement (Europrotocol) if all of the following conditions are met at the same time:

No one was injured in the accident
Only vehicles with valid insurance were involved
All drivers agree on the circumstances of the accident
The damage to the vehicles is not significant

Take as many photos of the accident scene as possible, and record a video.

Write down information about the other parties involved in the accident:

Full names and phone numbers
Vehicle details — make, model, and license plate number
Insurance company name and policy number

If you were at fault for the accident:

Provide the police and the injured parties with all the details of your Green Card policy
Send several documents to two email addresses — [email protected] and [email protected]

Photos and video from the accident scene
Photos or copies of the vehicle registration certificate and driver's license of the person driving at the time of the accident
